Fc Barcelona v. Racing Santander

FC Barcelona v Racing SantanderIn theory, Racing shouldn't create too many problems for Barça. Hector Cúper's sides are always well-organised in defence and midfield, but this Racing Santander seems inacapable of scoring goals - only 1 so far this season by Adrián, who is a midfield player. Veteran striker Munitis and his probable partner Stuani are going to have their work cut out against this Barça.

Our main concern this week is the 3-4-3 tactical variation. Both of us think that Guardiola will play a three-man defence, but neither of us are too sure who will play. Despite Puyol and Piqué both having had a run out for Spain this week, both of us think that Guardiola isn't too happy about having Gerard Piqué as the central defender in the three-man set up.

Real Madrid v. Betis and Levante v. Málaga

Despite wanting Betis to beat Real Madrid, both of us are aware that the most likely result in Santiago Bernabéu is a win for Los Blancos.

Both of us have been impressed by Málaga this season. Their game against Getafe was particularly entertaining - with a scorching overhead goal from Baptista that clinched the game. As so much money has been invested, we feel that Los Boquerones could well qualify for Europe this season and a Champions League place looks a strong possibility.

Mourinho's Finger In The Eye Incident

As Barça supporters, we consider Mourinho's attack on Tito Vilanova to be pretty pathetic. The Portuguese coach

Jose Mourinho Pokes Tito Vilanova In The Eye

claims he was provoked but whatever happened in the tunnel at half-time doesn't justify such childish behaviour.

We also feel that Mourinho is setting a very bad example for Spanish youngsters and when violence is perpetrated by coaches and players, there's always the concern that the fans will be incited to similar stupid acts.
