One of the things that annoys is when someone comes up to me and says 'Are you English . . . from England?' The person knows that there's some kind of complication here but hasn't worked out the difference between England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland . . . and Britain, Great Britain and the United Kingdom. I must admit it's kind of confusing, isn't it?
Anyway, something similar is being perpetrated by low-cost airlines, RyanAir in particular - they are advertising Girona and Reus Airports as Girona-Barcelona and Reus-Barcelona. For crying out loud, there's only one Barcelona El Prat Airport!!!
But then, they do also sell flights to London Luton!
